Ten days to go until the very first Nutritech East Cape Championships! Best of luck for your final preparation  for the event. As many of you know, I like to keep things in accordance with our sport, so I am keeping it mostly “unkown, and unknowable”. More details to possibly come next week …

I have a few individuals and teams wanting to finalise their team members. I am looking for the following:

A Team needs 1 male (rx)

Another team needs 1 female (rx)

I have 2 x males looking for teams (scaled)

Please contact me if you need anyone of the above!

The preliminary schedule for the Event is as follows:

Registrations will be open on Thursday evening between 17:00 and 19:00 at Baywest Mall (Parking Lot 1 at the event).

Late Registration will be between 8:00 and 8:30 on Friday before the start of the Individual Event at 9:00

We will also have a late registration for the Teams on Friday (after the Individual Prize Giving) and then on Saturday morning between 8:00 and 8:30.

The event will run from 9:00-18:00 (Prize Giving after event) on Friday 20th Nov, from 9:00-17:00 on Sat 21 Nov and from 9:00-14:00 on Sunday. We aim to be finish the Prize Giving by 15:00 on Sunday.

Venue:

The competition area will be undercover in parking lot 1 at Baywest Mall. Some parts of the parking lot will receive sun/rain (if it rains) and if it is windy then one will feel it to an extent.

Feel free to bring Box tents and signage where you set-up but please ensure that you have weight to secure it down to the cement. You are not allowed to penetrate the concrete surface with any object (i.e. nail/screws/stakes etc.).  We will have an athlete area with certain services….more details coming next.

We will give more specific info on Event Heat times and lane assignments over the weekend.

Baywest Mall merges the likes of food, fashion and fun in a safe and modern environment. There will be ample paid safe, secure parking at Entrance 1. It’s highly unlikely but If this parking lot fills up you can then park at any other entrance and walk to the venue. If you would like to assist with judging please let me know if you have any previous experience, if you have done the CrossFit judges online course and if you have your CrossFit level 1 trainer cert. These are not necessarily prerequisites but will provide me with valuable background info. Also please let me have your shirt size. Thanks
